David George, Learning Specialist
David joined the staff of the MSLC in January of 2005. He has a B.S. and M.S. in mathematics from Ohio University. While at Ohio University as an undergraduate, he worked as a tutor and study session leader for the Academic Advancement Center. As a graduate student, he worked as a teaching assistant. He joined the Mathematics Department in 1997 as a counselor in the Math Counseling Office. In 1999 he moved to a new position within the Department where he developed materials for courses and worked with the Department on ways to improve the content of several courses. In his time at Ohio State, he returned to school on a part-time basis, taking courses from the College of Education. He has also taught several math courses at Ohio State.
He enjoys playing softball, basketball, and anything electronic. He is married and has two young boys. He also enjoys camping with his family.
